Today Ivy started off in the round yard, working on transitions from walk to trot, trot to walk, walk to halt. We also practised doing an 'emergency tight circle', just in case Grace decided to go a little too fast! We progressed onto the bending poles and then went into the dressage arena to experience the big open space. Practised 20 metre circles at walk and trot, and changing the diagonal through the centre. We also practised the most important part of any dressage test, the halt, salute, and smile for the judge!
